In this guide, you will learn how to create an assistant that has access to the GDPR legislation & internal company guidelines that can answer any questions employee might have on the topic and provide detailed review of a proposal.

Step 1: Create the relevant data sources

For our GDPR expert assistant, we will need to have the GDPR law stored in Dust.

There are 2 approaches:

  1. Store the file in a platform that’s already integrated with Dust (Notion, Gdrive, Etc)
  2. Create a new Dust folder in which you’ll store the document.

In this example we’ll go with 2.

You’ll want to create a new folder called “gdpr” in which you add the pdf file for the GDPR law.

Step 2: Create the assistant

Now that you have all the relevant documents in Dust, you can move forward with the creation of your assistant.
