When you decide to cancel your subscription to a Dust paid plan, your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period. Once that period is finished:

Below are answers to most common questions on what will happen, with all the necessary details.

Will we continue to be able to use assistants, connections, datasources, etc.?

You will be switched to our free plan, and be subject to its limitations, as described here. In particular, as mentioned above:

Which user will remain after the downgrade?

The user who was given an admin role the earliest. This will typically be the person who initially subscribed, unless they were removed or their role was changed later.

Should you like another user to be the one that remains instead, please remove all other admins, either by revoking them or by downgrading their role to user or builder, before your subscription ends.

What will happen to our connections (Notion, Slack, Google Drive...)?

They will be deleted, along with all the related data that was synced on our servers. Of course, all the original data is still available to you via the data providers themselves (Notion, Slack, etc.), Dust won't and can't alter the original data.

What will happen to the dust slackbot?

It will be removed.

What will happen to our users' conversations?

The remaining user's conversations, as well as former users' conversation links, will remain accessible. However, the ability to interact with these conversations will be limited due to the restrictions of the free plan. This means that while the information within the conversations can be viewed, new interactions or continuations of these conversations will not be possible will not be possible once the number of messages since the creation of the workspace exceeds the free plan limit.
