Step 1: Create the agent

Step 2: Let the agent extract information

In this use case, we’ll want to use the extract data tool.

1/ Select the data sources

Connect the Slack channels that you want recaps from. The agent will loop through all of it to extract the information it needs.

2/ Add a description, a schema, and a timeframe

This will tell the agent what information it needs extract while looping through all of the documents in the data sources.

• Add a simple description (e.g. Discussions from existing topics)
• Choose the timeframe by choosing how long you want to scan over (weeks, days, etc.)
• Generate the schema from instructions, it will use those to tell which format to extract the information
